The 2009 National Football League (NFL) season is about to start. Held by the largest professional American football league in the world, this is the 90th season of the National Football League.

The season will start on August 9, 2009 with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The competition will last until February 7, 2009 with Super Bowl XLIV or the League’s championship game in Miami, FLorida.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is an annual NFL pre-season exhibition game. It is held the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s induction ceremonies. The game is played at Fawcett Stadium, which is located next door to the Hall of Fame building in Canton, Ohio.

Ya, benar, Michael Jackson meninggal dunia pagi ini waktu Indonesia. Michael Jackson meninggal menurut berita yang beredal disebabkan karena beliau mengalami serangan jantung, berupa berhentinya kerja jantung secara mendadak yang dalam ilmu kedokteran disebut cardiac arrest. Hal itu terjadi di kediaman Michale Jackson di Los Angeles. Michael Jackson segera dilarikan ke UCLA Medical Center.

Namun nyawa mega bintang Michael Jackson tidak terselamatkan. Michale Jackson meniggal meninggalkan duka dan kehilangan yang mendalam bagi para penggemarnya.

Shocking news this morning. Online News portals reports the death of Michale Jackson, a pop music legend.

(CNN) — Michael Jackson, the show-stopping singer whose best-selling albums — including “Off the Wall,” “Thriller” and “Bad” — and electrifying stage presence made him one of the most popular artists of all time, died Thursday, CNN has confirmed.

He collapsed at his residence in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, California, about noon Pacific time, suffering cardiac arrest, according to brother Randy Jackson. He died at UCLA Medical Center.

Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said an autopsy would probably be done on the singer Friday, with results expected that afternoon.

Nonton film Garuda di Dadaku

Buat kamu yang belum punya acara di akhir pekan ini, coba deh pertimbangkan nonton film Garuda di Dadaku yang baru dari Ari Sihasale.

Film ini bercerita tentang perjuangan seorang anak mengejar cita-cita menjadi pemain sepakbola yang hebat. Dalam perjuangannya mengejar cita-cita, ternyata banyak halangan dan hambatan. Termasuk yang paling sulit justru dari keluarga sendiri yaitu kakeknya yang tidak setuju dengan cita-cita Bayu menjadi pemain bola.

Menurut sang kakek, profesi pemain sepakbola tidak punya masa depan. Nah sanggupkan bayu mengejar cita-citanya, saksikan saja film Garuda di Dadaku karena film ini sudah diputar di bioskop sejak 18 Juni 2008.
